Second Spring Podcast: Rebecca Ness

Thriving Midlife with Chinese Medicine

For a lot of us acupuncturists, Chinese medicine found us, not the other way around.

What’s not quite common, however is that not a lot of us went from documentary film producing to practicing Chinese medicine.

Not a lot of us came to Ohio from coastal California, either.

Certainly, not a lot of us landed to raise our kids in a small, tree-lined city-arboretum of Bexley!

Today, you get to listen to a conversation between two midlife acupuncturists who share all the above facts. ☺️

We are one, but we are not the same.

Rebecca is a little older than me, and yet she may be way younger in her vitality. I know a lot of that has to do with how she includes Chinese medicine - the art and science of it - in her daily life. You will have to listen to the episode to find out what she does!

Enjoy this fun conversation and please pass it on to someone who can benefit from these stories.

As always, thank you for supporting our Second Spring community!

Rebecca is a licensed acupuncturist, an herbalist, and a Qi gong teacher.

Not long after she moved from California did Rebecca become a very valuable Bexley resident.

She’s the vice chair of Green Bexley and has contributed so much to the community, especially around encouraging our town to be more environmentally conscious.

Rebecca embodies Chinese medicine in her professional and personal life. She credits it to her vitality and well-being as she feels more energized and healthy now in her early 50s than when she was younger!

Listen to the episode for some Chinese medicine secrets and so much more.

Rebecca sees patients at Monarch Acupuncture and herbs, her private practice in Bexley, Ohio.
