The Dangerous "S" word

Break yourself free by letting it go!

How many things are you doing today that are “I should” things. They are not “I want” things or “I can” things.

When was the last time you recognized the “shoulds” and intentionally took them off the list?

Should can be a very dangerous word.

Can you acknowledge that you do some of the “shoulds” to please others, to avoid doing something else, or to give yourself more things to do because you wanted something on that “to do” list?

This week’s podcast episode with Regan Walsh is all about how and why we midlife women can decidedly remove the “shoulds” from our lists. It won’t just make you feel more aligned with how you spend your time, it will make you feel more alive and free than ever before!

When we shed our shoulds, we get to live authentically.

Regan and I discussed several things around this topic as well as the reality of being a midlife mother taking care of everyone while navigating our own path.

As a coach, Regan shares useful ways to tackle the overwhelm and frustrations that come with this chapter of life.

You will get a glimpse of how Regan coaches her executive clients - also women in their midlife in the professional world.

Regan Walsh is an executive and life coach, a best selling author of the fabulous memoir Heart Boss.

Her purpose is to help women trust their gut and shed their shoulds.

Regan is a mom living her Second Spring midlife chapter right here in Columbus, Ohio, just a few miles away from me.

I’ve been lucky to have her in my practice, and so lucky to have her on the podcast today!
