I am moving!
Closing my practice indefinitely đ
Just a couple of days ago, I got the news that because of unforeseen circumstances, we have to leave Ohio soon. It was completely unexpected â we are in shock!
But life has a way of delivering bittersweet flavors, some more welcome than others.
So I am here (with just a touch of drama đ ) to bid you adieu.
If you have future appointments with me, I will reach out to you directly!
If you have been part of my practice these last 12 years, itâs been my pleasure to be part of your wellness team. Thank you for everything.
I hope we can stay in touch, from near and far.
April Fools!
Did my very first April Fools get you?
Sorry if I made your heart jump for a secondâha!
Since today is both April Fools and a Full Pink Moon day, I thought a little adrenaline rush might be a fun way to welcome April. Apologies if that felt a little too realâIâm a total novice at fooling around.
For realz!
But letâs get serious for a moment.
How did that actually feel in your body to be fooled?
If that felt like a little jolt⊠...notice where you might be fooling yourself in your own life, on a regular basis. Because that's a lot of jolting â and nothing rattles your Qi quite like chronic self-deception.
I hear some of this âfoolingâ in my office that sounds like:
Youâre not worthy of a great relationship.
Youâre not strong enough to leave something that isnât right for you.
Youâre not smart enough for an amazing job, not important enough to speak up, not good enough to be chosen, seen, heard, or loved.
I call it all B.S.
What if those werenât truthsâbut just stories in your head?
What if, in small ways every day, youâre âApril Fools-ingâ yourself⊠keeping yourself feeling inadequate, frustrated, lonely, confusedâor just plain unhappy?
Fooling yourself limits your ability to create a fulfilling lifeâone where you get to experience the three Ps: Peace, Purpose, and Power.
Without them, itâs easy to feel the weight of the world and the pressure of expectations. And that, my friend, is not how youâre meant to live this one beautiful life youâve been given.
Today, I invite you to notice your stories, question them, and choose something truer. Not the version that keeps you small, frustrated, unseen, unheard, unworthy.
You deserve to be met as who you are.
Answer these questions with conviction:
Who are you, really?
What do you deserve without apologies?
How do you want to be treated?
What do you want in your relationships, your work, your family?
What kind of life do you want to live?
And perhaps most importantly â
What does it look like for you to show up as authentically you?
Not who you should be, not how youâre supposed to behave, not what will please others.
Start small. It will show up for you, bigger than you think.
No more fooling. Not today. Not yourself.
I am done fooling.
For realz.
I am not going anywhere â just yet!
Happy April đ«
Love,
Kit
