Get Ready!
May is on its way
Are you fastening your seatbelts, holding onto your hats, maybe taking a deeper breath than usual?
Are you closing the shades, stocking up, bracing yourselves?
Why, you ask?
Because May is on its way.
If Mays of the past have felt like storms, this one might be coming in like a hurricane… maybe even a tornado for some of us.
In our family, we used to call May “Mayhem.”
When the kids were in school, everything landed in May—sports, performances, parties, meetings, gatherings. If it could be scheduled, it was scheduled… in May.
And just when life had quieted a bit, and May softened over the last few years, here we are again.
This May feels different.
Two graduations in ten days. Visitors coming from across the world. Weddings, gatherings, and everything in between.
I know it’s not just me.
Many of you are walking into May holding a lot—health, finances, relationships, your own life and the lives of people you love.
It’s a month that seems to hold everything at once:
🤍love and loss,
🤍celebrations and grief,
🤍beginnings and endings.
If you’ll let me go just a little woo for a moment to make sense of things—this May brings two full moons, bookending the month. A blue moon kind of moment.
Whatever happens “once in a blue moon”… well, it will be happening now.
I’m just here today, dropping into your inbox, to gently remind you to:
💛 Breathe.
💙 Be grateful for what’s already here.
💛 Live fully—as if this day matters (because it does).
💙 Tell people you love them.
💛 Trust that this, whatever is in your way, will pass.
Most of all—remember that nothing is random.
Lean into what feels true for you — that’s where the magic is.
Presence really is a present — your presence is a gift to many.
So, get ready for May by:
Letting May be May.
Letting you be you.
Letting the rest unfold.
Make this May marvelous and memorable.
I’m so grateful for you. 💛
With all my love,
xoxo
Dr. Kit
P.S. I will be out of town for most of May.
All appointments between now and June have been taken. I will open up summer appointments and other offerings soon.
But for now, take good care of yourself and don’t take life for granted.
I don’t take you for granted❣️

I feel this!! 🙌
