Dr. Kit at OSU
Summer Community Acupuncture at the BOB
Like a lot of kids in elementary school, I wanted to be a doctor. Of course, I did.
Or a teacher.
In many ways, over the years, I became both!
As an acupuncturist and coach, I’ve spent years helping people navigate not only physical symptoms, but also stress, grief, burnout, transitions, relationships, and the complicated reality of being human.
People walk into my office carrying health conditions, life circumstances, and hope — trusting that something in my toolbox might help them feel better.
Together, we’ve met those challenges, one step at a time.
It has been one of the greatest privileges of my life to be part of your healthcare team!
Over the past year, I decided it was time to formally pursue the “doctor” title — not because letters before my name define me (I am still the same Kit you know), but because I want to deepen my knowledge and continue expanding how I can serve you.
To some people, this still may not feel like a “real doctor” in the conventional medical sense. But healing has never belonged to only one model of care.
If a doctor is someone who helps you feel better… someone who can hold space for your mental and emotional reality… someone who offers guidance, accountability, perspective, and care that supports meaningful change… then I am proud to be that kind of doctor for you.
As a Chinese medicine doctor, I not only believe in the medicine itself, I also believe healthcare should be accessible and affordable for everyone. One of my favorite parts of my career has been practicing community acupuncture — offering effective, ongoing care in a calm, shared healing space. Each person receives an individualized treatment while resting comfortably alongside others in community.
Beginning June 1st, I’m so excited to share that I’ll be offering community acupuncture again this summer at The Ohio State University Integrative Health Center.
